MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
CODE OF ETHICS

Article I

Creative Football Union’s Codex of Ethics (the “CFU“) is intended for all parties to contractual as well as extra-contractual relations who were, are or may in the future be directly or indirectly affected by the activity of the CFU. It is binding on all members and partners of the CFU, players, representatives of partner clubs, colleagues acting in the management of the CFU, and persons otherwise participating in the activities of the CFU (the “Partners“).

Article II

The Partners are aware of the significance and importance of their positions in the structure of the CFU and of their resulting duties and responsibilities. The conduct of the partners must comply with ethics, humbleness, high morals and provisions of this Codex of Ethics of the CFU. While acting, they shall apply the principles of honesty, responsibility and dignity.

Article III

Football is a phenomenon. It is the most popular and most widespread game on our planet. It connects millions of people, creates new friendships and alliances, and when fair play is honoured, it enriches all participants of the football world. Fair play is understood as an effort and will to act honestly, reasonably and fairly. The power of football lies in the balance between the development of physical and mental abilities and it is becoming an important means in the educational process. The fair play principle means much more than just a game played by the rules. It also means terms such as friendship, respect for others and competing in the proper spirit. It means not only a way of behaving, but also a way of thinking. It rules out any cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, use of drugs and doping, physical as well as verbal roughness, abuse of unequal opportunities, excessive commerciality, corruption, etc.. To honour fair play means to understand that football brings joy after a tough and fair fight, even though one does not come out the winner.

Article IV

In their activities, the Partners shall act in a way that no one is discriminated against on any ground, affected by terrorism, racial and national intolerance, defamed or humiliated. Human integrity and dignity shall be preserved under any circumstances.

Article V

Partners shall not have a conflict of interest, gain advantages for themselves, their relatives, friends or acquaintances, accept financial gifts or commissions, or other favours that could unfairly affect the activities of the CFU in any way.

Article VI

Partners shall adhere to the principle of loyalty to all entities cooperating with the CFU, and respect the principles and laws applied to confidential or secret information.

Article VII

The principles and maxims contained in this Codex of Ethics of the CFU as well as the monitoring of compliance with them shall be applied by all parties to the relations within the CFU.
